Happy Birthday Oliver Another year has passed and my Oliver is now 2 years old. How time flies! This year I decided to give the boys their own separate party. I wanted to do my first themed party so went with a ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ party and I had spent months and months preparing it. We had it at Alexander Clark Park at Loganholme as I wanted somewhere where there was no water or main roads so the parents could relax and not worry the whole time. I know what that’s like! A member of the maternal forum kindly sent me all personalised VHC party decors which I printed out. The cake, cupcakes and cakepops were made by an amateur cake maker and the cost was much lower than what you would pay for a professional. I had fruit, sweet and salty popcorn, cherrios, green leaves and a platter of cabanossis, cheese and crackers on the table. I also had small bottles of water and juice poppers. Happy Father's Day to the best Dad on the planet! Today we went to our favourite eating place - The Bearded Dragon at Mount Tamborine. Leah, Brandon and the kids joined us.

Another baby boy on his way Today I went to April's baby shower. Her friend has gone to a lot of effort to make it gorgeous and April looked glowing. There was a baby onesie station where you could iron on pictures onto the suit for April to use for bubs. The food was yummy and someone had set up a photobooth section with lots of wigs, glasses etc. Samuel had a ball trying them all on. We had a lovely day.
