Officially over it!

37 weeks 4 days Ok, I'm officially over this pregnancy! I feel soooo fat and squished and just wanna meet the little man already! I feel so tight and can hardly breathe sometimes! He must be so cozy and warm in there cause I feel his every movement! Today was a crappy day. Samuel missed his day sleep so we were both absolutely smashed with tiredness and I'm such a cranky mummy these days :( I just try and remember it wont be for much longer. Just seems like everything 'naughty' thing Samuel does fires me up! I'm constantly bending down to pick things up and following him to make sure he isn't wrecking anything! Not to mention I can never go to the toilet is peace LOL But El wont touch me with a ten foot pole (aka DTD) as he knows it can bring on labour! I should shock him and announce when he gets home from work that Ive drunk castor oil and am just waiting on my waters to break LOL But I'll give it a bit more time, another week and Ill be ready for the push...

My photo-shoot with the ever talented Naomi V

Image
37 weeks 1 day Today I had my pregnancy photo-shoot with Naomi up at Mount Tambourine (no bare belly or half naked shots this time). It was SO beautiful up there. It would seriously be my dream to live up there but I reckon I'd be a nigel as I wouldn't come down the mountain very often. It makes me feel sick going up and down the windey roads. Na picked me up and we got macca's on the way (she remained good while I was bad) and then make the track up there. She took us to this beautiful street with only 5 properties on it and they all over looked into the mountain. So beautiful. A couple even came out on their balcony to watch us LOL I felt a bit stupid at first but then I finally relaxed and we got some awesome shots, which I'll cherish forever. The things you do for good photos! - stepping in muddy water, rocks in shins, lugging yourself onto a fence, getting dirty feet and freezing your nips off on the top of a mountain! I also had some friendly horses come up for a ...

Remembering Ava...

Image
Yesterday Samuel and I went along to a "Tea Party" in a gorgeous Park in Rochedale South, in memory of the beautiful Ava (www.sheyerosemeyerphotography.com). It was all beautifully set up and the sweet snacks there were just devine. Naomi was there photographing the event and the little girls were dressed up in gorgeous pettiskirts. Samuel had a ball eating a lot of the sweets and I was surprised he ate his dinner that night! We released balloons at the end of it and thought of Ava as we were doing so. I don't know how any parent could live through the death of their child. Its just unimaginable :( Pics for your pleasure:

Our little lamb chop boy

Image
Just over the past few months Samuel has really shown his love for lamb cutlets (of course the most expensive type of meat). I really just think its the little handle they have so he can hold it! He loves chowing down into them, served along with steamed veggies and mash. Here are some pictures from his lamb cutty night the other day (it was so nice to sit down and eat dinner as a family for once!):

I'm such a slacker!

36 weeks 1 day Ooops! Im such a slack blogger! Forgive me but life is just so busy sometimes! Well, here I sit at 36 weeks pregnant, with only 4 weeks to go!!! How the HELL did that happen?! Seriously, this pregnancy has gone so fast! It feels like just the other week I was 8 weeks along, severely sick, throwing up into a bucket, with Samuel throwing food on my back! Its crazy! But I am very excited when I think about meeting my new little man. Well I had my 36 week checkup today at the hospy. Bubs is measuring 37 weeks and is head down but is not engaged. So I have been given an information sheet on exercise on how to get him down into my pelvis so Ill start those tonight (it includes sitting up straight on the lounge - no more lounging round!). I also had a swab done for strep B (which I almost died of embarrassment at) and I had my last (hopefully) anti-d needle. His heartbeat was also nice and strong. I go back again in 2 weeks time, and then at 40 weeks. But who knows, I may not m...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

Image
34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

My 25th Birthday

Image
34 weeks 6 days The girls took me out to dinner for my 25th birthday at the Hyperdome. Gosh it feels old to say I'm 25! Where have the years gone?! We ate at a lovely Italian Restaurant and had gourmet pizzas. We were going to go to the movies after but we were all tired so decided to skip it. Leah got me all 3 of the Twilight Saga Music Albums and Naomi got me the New Moon and Eclipse Movie Companion Books. Great to add to my collection. Elliot let me pick a handbag and I chose a blue leather Guess one but after using it for a few hours the next day, the rope type shoulder strap was killing me and it was just too big. So I took it back the next day and swapped it for another brand, just $130 cheaper! So now I have a lovely Myers in-store credit card :) Here are some pics from my dinner with the girls:
