OK, Im back!

Image
Oh my gosh, I have been so slack updating this blog. I must put a reminder in my diary every month to make a post, otherwise I am going to regret it later on. Well, Samuel is now 14 months old! How time has flown. But I can hardly remember him ever being a newborn! So needless to say Im so clucky right now! Sammy has decided he much prefers crawling over walking so has not even attempted to walk yet. He has really strong legs (as his chiropractor told me) but just doesn't want to use them! He is very fast with cruising the furniture and certainly knows how to get around. Although Im not too worried just yet, if he does get to 18 months and still no signs of walking, then I may get a little worried. But I'm sure he will be then *fingers crossed* At the moment he going through the stage where he is getting into EVERYTHING! And although it frustrates me I need to remind myself this is just a stage he is going through and will get over the excitement of my kitchen draws and its con...

New Moon Premiere

Image
Last night Leah, Naomi and I went to the New Moon Premiere at the Logan Hyperdome. It was crazy! So many young teeny boppers there to cheer on their wolf or vamp team! Leah and I decided to be 'cool' and wear our vampire fangs. As I was getting ready Elliot decided to come and show me how its done. A nice Edward impersonation you think? Me think no: The girls picked me up on the way (we were all wearing our New Moon shirts and even convinced Naomi to buy a Jacob one, even though she's not a fan LOL) and we stopped in to get some alcohol for pre-show drinks. We got our goodies and then parked at the dome. We decided to scull a few drinks in the carpark, as you do and things got a little crazy: We then walked up to the food court and ordered our cheap-arse dinner and acted like tools: We then decided to go back to the car and go get more drinkies but the dam car wouldn't start! I think we had left one of the lights on. So we hung out there until a car drove past and we fl...

Wow, its been TOO long

Image
Ops! I cant believe I haven't made a post since April! Its now July! My bad. But alas, here I am ready to update you all. Well Samuel is now 9 months old, can you believe it! He is growing up way too quick and before I know it, I will be organising his 1st birthday! We will probably just have the family over, have some lunch and a teddy cake! Samuel now has 4 toothy pegs. Two on the bottom, and two on the top. He looks extra cute with them. Especially when he gives a cheesy grin. He is seriously a champion teether as he has continued to sleep through the night. Sure, he is a little grumpy and whiny through the day but at night he is still perfect. Ive really been lucky having a great sleeper. He is also so close to crawling. For the past two weeks he has been rocking back and forth on his knees, but just hasn't worked out that he needs to use his arms in order to go forward! So there are a lot of bellyflops happening at the moment. He is going through a really whingy stage at t...

El's graduation get-together

Image
Last night we had a little get together at Leah's house to celebrate Elliot finishing his uni degree! Quite a few people turned up and we all feasted on the gorgeous food Leah had prepared. Needless to say we all drunk too much and paid for it the next morning! But it was a good night. Here are some pics:

Time for an update!

I can't believe how long it's been since I’ve done an update! So here I am :) Well Samuel is now 6.5 months old. The time is flying past. Next thing he'll be turning one, now that’s a scary thought. A couple of weeks ago Samuel and I went down to Sydney to visit the fam. I was worried about mucking around with his routine, but of course he was perfect! He didn’t get much of a chance to sleep during the day, as we were always out seeing ppl, but he continued to sleep through the night. I think he is like his dad in that sense, loves his sleep. He is also teething at the moment, but isn't doing too badly with it. One of his bottom toothy pegs has come out half way, and the other is just showing at the tip. It's been like this for almost 2 weeks now so I have a feeling he is going to be a slow teether. Ill try and get a pic. Samuel is now on 3 meals a day, but he is taking a back seat to solids at the moment because of the teething, I guess. He is also not drinking all...

I ♥ Huggalugs Leg Huggers so much because they come in gorgeous patterns and colours, there's always one to match Samuel's MCN's, they keep his legs warm so I can show off his nappy and they last a lifetime! Here's Sammy in a pair:
