The Johnson Family

Elliot and I were lucky enough to be invited to spend the day at Doomben Raceway to watch a polo match! It was the first time for both of us. I decided to treat myself and get my hair and makeup done professionally by the one adn only Erin Bigg (www.erinbigg.com.au). She did an amazing job as always and I felt a million bucks! I had also borrow a dress off a friend so had something 'new' to wear. We left the kids at home with Vicki. It was a really nice day and the food was good too. We met up with Els boss Jonathan and spent the afternoon talking, eating and drinking. When we were all called onto the field to stomp the grass back in, El decided to pat one of the horses and about 15 mins later he started having an allergy attack! His eyes were watering and he couldn't breathe properly through his nose. It started to ease an hour later. Apart from that we had a great day.

Happy Mothers Day to me! El took us all out to Beenleigh Historical Village for a buffet breakfast. The food was yum and the kids had fun running around on the grass in front of the cafe. Afterwards we went for a walk around the village and then went across to Mitre 10 where El bought me a massive set of winds chimes and a veggie box as my Mothers Day present. Happy Mothers Day to my Mum also....wish you were here. The 3 of us got her Seasons 1-3 of True Blood :)

The girls and I went to Logan Village Pub for a yummy dinner and then we hit the karaoke! April is such a sweetie and brought these hand made flowers so we could write messages of love and friendship to each other. Something I will cherish forever (just like the mothers day badge she made us last year). Being a teacher she had also brought some funny props for us to use...you will see what they are below LOL
