Doomben Races

Elliot and I were lucky enough to be invited to spend the day at Doomben Raceway to watch a polo match! It was the first time for both of us. I decided to treat myself and get my hair and makeup done professionally by the one adn only Erin Bigg (www.erinbigg.com.au). She did an amazing job as always and I felt a million bucks! I had also borrow a dress off a friend so had something 'new' to wear.

We left the kids at home with Vicki. It was a really nice day and the food was good too. We met up with Els boss Jonathan and spent the afternoon talking, eating and drinking.

When we were all called onto the field to stomp the grass back in, El decided to pat one of the horses and about 15 mins later he started having an allergy attack! His eyes were watering and he couldn't breathe properly through his nose. It started to ease an hour later. Apart from that we had a great day.

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
