I took the kids to Wriggle It today as it is still raining heavily. It has been raining for what feels like months straight! Samuel was enjoying pretending to be a puppy for most of our visit. We had yummy hot chips and I enjoyed a well deserved coffee. Thank goodness for in-car DVD players. It kept the boys entertained on the way home while I drove through heavy rain. Today we all drove up to Australia Zoo (Beerwah). I had always wanted to go there as I haven't been to a zoo since I was a baby (I think - Mum?). We were also driving up that way to pick up some things Elliot had won on ebay so it worked out well. On the way up it was raining so heavy and we were close to turning around and going back but thought we'd give it a chance. We were very lucky that when we got there the rain stopped. The boys had a really good time walking around looking at all the animals and riding around on the train. I think the highlight for them were the kangaroos and the arena show. I can't believe it is now 2013! The years definitely go quicker as you get older and busier with life. We decided to hang out at Uncle Peter's again and I can see it might become a tradition. He went to a lot of effort and blew up his massive jumping castle for the kids and he hired a karaoke setup for the adults. Leah, Vicki, Paul, Adam, Naomi, Adrian and kids ended up coming which was great. I had cocktails galore :) Here's to a great New Year *cheers*
