Sam & Ollie's first dress-up party

Today Oliver and Sam went to their very first dress up party!

I secretly love anything dress ups so searched for some cool costumes for them. I was about to buy Sam a pirate outfit but a friend from playgroup kindly lent us her sons one. I was also lucky enough to find a pixie (or santas little helper) outfit at vinnies for $3! Perfect!

Sam had been talking about Lexi's pirate party for ages and so the morning of the party he was very excited the day had finally come! I got the boys dressed in their outfits (and was surprised Ollie didnt try and take his off like he did the day before because it has bells on it!) and Sam let me put his pirate makeup on. I got dressed also into a ladies pirate outfit I was lent from another playgroup friend :) I wore Leah's red wig and think I looked pretty sexy for a pirate haha

We drove to the party, which was at Tambourine, and when we got there the kids had a great time running around with the other littlies. We played some games, had a bite to eat and then came home so Oliver could sleep. Cant wait til the boys parties!

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
