Christmas is on it's way


Can you believe it's only 25 days until Christmas?! I have been getting into the spirit lately by putting up the tree early and creating an American style chimney to christmas our lounge room up. The kids are getting excited  (more so about the presents I bet) and I am looking forward to spending another xmas day at home, hopefully with the family.

I came across this little (well big really) craft project on facebook one day and thought I would give it a go. The kids were excited to help me but in the end managed to only stick on 3 bricks each, leaving the rest for me to do haha. It took a few days of taping, painting, cutting and gluing but I finally finished it and I have to say it looks fab.

I went to kmart and got a few more ornaments to add to the collection and  hung some stockings and a wreath to it. Now to get onto presents.

The boys and I were out at the hyperdome one day and I decided to make a pit stop into Harvey Norman and have a free santa photo taken. At first Ollie didn't want to go up to santa but once he saw Sam sit next to him, he was a lot more confident to go too. The chosen photo was perfect :)

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
