Farewell Uncle Ian (aka Uncle fat)

Last week we received the sad news that Uncle Ian had passed away. He had been in bad health for a while now so had finally lost his battle on this earth. Leah, Naomi and Mum flew down with Elijah and I and we spent 5 days down in Sydney.

We had the funeral the day after we arrived and then went to lunch with Lloyd and his carers. The next day we had lunch at Dads and caught up with Chu, Kristine, Aunty Yvonne, Ashleigh and Jason and Ray and Toni. Although sad, it was a lovely trip and the girls were fantastic with Elijah. We stayed in a cheap motel but it was better then sleeping on a lounge somewhere.

Elijah was fantastic on the plane but hated the car seat he was in in the rental car. He cried so much when driving around, which was a lot! But everyone just adores him, as do I :)

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
