Camping @ Brunswick Heads 2016/17

What an amazing time we had at Brunswick Heads. It just gets better every year! Our setup improves every year, making it more comfortable and fun every time.

We headed down on the 27th December and stayed until the 4th January. We were in the same site we have been on the last 2 years. The same families were there and I find us getting more friendlier each year. The boys were excited to see their friends and they instantly hit it off so it was nice to see they had friends to encourage them to get out and play with.

We set up as quickly as we could, although it is stressful setting up but luckily we had the kids scooters and bikes so they could go off riding.

We also all had a bike each. One of my presents from El was an awesome trike beach cruiser bike! We also put a baby seat on the back so I spent a lot of my time just cruising around the park on the bike. Elijah would also fall asleep on the back if he was tired enough. We did a few bike trips into Brunswick Heads.

We spent a lot of time swimming in the river and down at the beach. We had Leah, Kiara, Jade and Ray and Toni come visit us for New Years Eve.The kids had fun getting high on sugar and playing the mouthguard game LOL

Elijah did pretty good. We had a playpen set up for him but he didnt always last very long in it lol He preferred to crawl around in the dirt. Oliver was obsessed with riding down to a part of the park that had sand and was along the river and digging up little crabs. He would go at least 3 times a day.

We such an amazing time and will be back next year of course :)

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
