Les Miserable at Ipswich Musical Theatre

Today I took Samuel to his first ever live musical performance. Mum and Amy (old next door neighbour) came too. He absolutely loved it! I was going to keep it a surprise but he got it out of me after I convinced him to wear his settler costume lol

When we arrived we got a bite to eat and I introduced Sam to the producer. He had a photo with him also. Some people were looking at Sam, maybe thinking he was a part of the play lol

We watched the play which was fantastic. It was the same company that put on The Phantom of the Opera. Sam sat well for most of it and I even caught him singing along to some of the songs.

A few days before the play I had messaged the company’s fb page to ask if they could help surprise Sam with helping him meet the cast after the show. The rep said she had confirmed for the Master of the House couple to be there so I was stoked!

After the show finished we headed down stairs and walked into the theatre when standing there was almost all of the main cast! I heard them specifically asking for Sam J Sam was star struck! He had a few photos with them. I really feel this experience has encouraged him with his acting. He has a talent for it that’s for sure!

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
