Its a boy!!!!

19 weeks 3 days

Thats right, we've got ourselves a little man! We're so happy :)

Elliot picked me up from work at 11.45am. We drove into the city and got there in only 20 mins. Lucky we left when we did because finding parking was a nightmare.

We arrived at QUFW at 12.20pm and didnt get taken into the room until 12.40pm. That was a bit annoying but what can you do? We finally got called into the room where a nice lady with an accent and short hair introduced herself as our sonographer.

I layed down and was asked to take my belly ring out. She put the gel on my tummy and straight away she could see that bubs was not in a good position to see everything properly....so, this is what I did over the next 1/2 hour:

*Drunk cold water x 3
*Jogged up & down the stairs 5 times
*Rolled from side to side
*Drunk coffee
*Went for a walk around the city

*Did star jumps

*Touched my toes

*Pushed and prodded my stomach

And then finally, bubs moved into a good position. She asked if we wanted to know the sex so she zoomed in on his 'area' and there it was, a penis! LOL Ell couldnt stop smiling so needless to say he was very happy, and so was I. It was cool to see everything on a big TV infront of us.

She then said she was going to get the Dr. to come in and have a better look at bubs. Once again we waited for about 20 mins until he finally came in. Everything was spot on, was in its right spot and growing at the right speed. He said bubs was very active and was moving heaps. He's a little squirmer Ill tell ya...

They did some 3d scans but because bubs had both his arms infront of his face, plus the umbilical cord, we didnt get any front on shots. We did get a few good ones though, which Ive posted below. He has Ells nose and my lips...I think.

We finally got out at 3.10pm. Im now measuring a few days earlier so my due date has gone back to the 3rd October.
