So close now!

39 weeks 3 days

Just thought I would do a quick blog before I dont get a chance to do one for a while!

Well Im almost at my due date and am totally freaked out LO Well not totally, maybe just a smudge. This pregnancy has just flown. It really is amazing how fast its gone and I cant believe Im so close to being a Mum. My life is going to change forever, but im excited about it.

Im loving not working and have actually gotten over the 'bored' stage. Im really just enjoying sleeping, eating, and surfing the net all the time. Because I know I wont get to do these things very very soon, for a very very long time!

I just think Ell and I have had a good 7.5 years for ourselves and to do what we want so we cant wait to meet our little man and care and love for him. I hope we are good parents.

We had our pro pics taken by Naomi yesterday. Im so glad we got them done because they turned out amazing. It was something I really wanted to have and Im going to make a storyboard out of them. Here are a few:




Bubs is pretty dam cosy in me ATM. I was having some pretty tight braxton hicks last night. I just feel so tight and full and get stitches under my rib where he has parked his arse!

I have a feeling he's going to go well overdue and Ill probably have to be induced, which is something I dont want. SO, im going to be brave and try some castor oil tomorrow night. It worked with bringin on labour for Leah so it may do the same for me. Ive got to do it one day (labour that is) so Im trying not to let it totally freak me out and just do it, so i can meet my little man.

So you may not hear from me again until after I have him! Exciting! Wish me luck :)

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
