New Years Eve 2013

Happy New Years!!!!

 Another year gone by! Happy New Years everyone! I hope this new year of 2014 brings many happy times and beautiful memories for you all.

Because the past few years El and I have had  reasonably quiet or non-eventful, I decided we were going to do something fun this NYE.

I convinced Na and Adrian and Ashleigh and James to come to the "I wish I was ball" at the RNA showgrounds. We all got a room at the Hilton. At around 8:30pm Na and I got ready together and did hair makeup etc. Naomi and Adrian were dressed as a cute German couple and Elliot and I were Viking King and Queen. Ash and James came as Thor and Black Widow! We certainly were a site but felt more at home at the event where everyone was dressed up.

There were a few different music areas and food and drinks galore. It was a fun night but Ash had too much fun too soon and was blind drunk laying on the oval for most of it haha.

We left shortly after the count down and walked, what seemed like hundreds of kms, back to the hotel. At one point we found ourselves walking through kings cross which was not a good idea!!!

Mum was at home with the boys, Kiara and Kye and apparently had a shocker of a night so we wont be doing that again. I know how crazy the boys can get when they're altogether!

Sammy is 2 months!

Well my little man is 2 months old! Although it does feel like he has been in our lives forever! Thought I would do an update on us while Samuel is having a sleep. He is such a good baby, and I noticed this since we made the fulltime switch to formula. I tried with b/f but it just wasnt working for us. S is such a more contented and happy baby. S had his 2 month needles the other day and it was the hardest thing I have had to do! I had to hold his poor little legs down while they stuck the needles in him. The first one was bad and he cried but stopped pretty much straight away, but the second one OMG He screamed so loud and his face went bright red and he was so sad.... :( It took me 10 mins to soothe him. Im defiantely not looking forward to his 4 month needles. He is almost sleeping through the night now! Bedtime is between 7-730pm, and I follow the bath, bottle, bed routine. This has helped him realise bedtime is approaching and he starts to unwind! He will generally sleep until bet...

Mr Timmy came for a visit

34 weeks 6 days Tim was up in QLD for his school rock-band tour and so we decided to meet up for dinner. It had been over a year since we had seen him last. We went to the Glen Hotel and had a nice dinner. A few hours before we had left Samuel fell face first into gravel in the front yard. Poor lil thing was all scratched up. But he was really well behaved considering it was late at night when he's usually fast asleep. Here are some pics:

Merry Christmas Everyone

Just a quick blog post for our Christmas Day at the Johnson Household. We spent the day at home just chilling. The boys opened their presents when they woke up. They got a mountain bike each and a few other bits and pieces and Elijah opened his pressie as well. We had mum over for lunch. It was a nice day :)
